Please read the terms of this disclaimer carefully – it contains important information about the service we provide, your rights and limits our obligations to you when certain things go wrong.
Payment is to be made in full at time of booking in order to confirm reservation of vehicle. Email confirmation will be sent and the customer is responsible for checking the details are full and correct.
In the unlikely event that Portfolio Heritage Ltd cannot provide a vehicle on the day of your booking for reasons outside its control, a full refund will be made. However, we will endeavour to provide a back-up service at no extra cost.
In the event that Portfolio Heritage Ltd does not deliver the service to a high standard a full refund may be paid at the discretion of Portfolio Heritage Ltd.
We will agree the general route with the client before the service is provided. We will accommodate any reasonable requests to change the route during the minimum booking time of 3 hours. Beyond the minimum booking time, an hourly charge is applied as per the Tariff.
Passengers are liable for any damage they may cause and chauffeurs are not obliged to carry passengers that are disorderly or abusive.
You are responsible for ensuring that the collection time you have agreed allows you sufficient time to reach your destination, taking account of the unexpected events that could occur and delay your journey or our vehicle on its way to collect you. Whilst Portfolio Heritage Ltd will endeavour to arrive early at the pick-up point, please be aware that there are numerous factors that we cannot prevent against and which may impact or delay your journey with us. For these reasons our service is provided on the basis that we are not responsible for any inconvenience, losses you suffer, costs you incur or other consequences arising from our failure to provide, or delays in providing, our agreed service because of factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our reasonable control. Factors outside of our reasonable control include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions; accidents involving our vehicles; delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, road closures, accidents or diversions; or mechanical breakdowns which are unexpected and could not have been prevented by a reasonable preventative maintenance programme.
